I am so lucky to be working with such incredibly talented and kind people. Phil Svitek, Keven Undergaro and all of the hosts welcomed me to the AfterBuzzTV team from the moment I stepped in the studio, and it really makes the experience so much more enjoyable when you love the people you're surrounded by. I look forward to continuing to grow and learn from each person there and I only hope every future hosting endeavor I work in will be as welcoming and team-oriented as AfterBuzz has been. =)
Here's Some Videos for all you die hard RHOM/RHOBH & Snooki & JWoww Fanatics! Be sure to comment on YouTube and iTunes and let us know what you want us to talk more/less about for the upcoming shows!
It's FINALLY that time of year when I get to fill my apartment with pumpkin-scented candles, watch Hocus Pocus re-runs a million times, brainstorm costume ideas, bake Halloween treats, go apple picking, carve a pumpkin, and over-dose on candy corn!
Being that I live in LA now, I don't get the opportunity to go all out and decorate my large front yard the way I would back home in Massachusetts, therefore, I opt for some Halloween accents that add just the right amount of spooky without cluttering my LA place. =)
I'm willing to admit that I'm super picky about wine so it took a while to find my favorites. If you're like me and you love sweet wine that isn't dry and doesn't leave a strong alcohol aftertaste then you need to try these!
The hues of reds and oranges remind me of the
beautiful colors of October when the leaves begin to change in my hometown. The
polish is pigmented enough that one coat does the job (although I always get
two), and like all OPI polishes, it doesn’t chip easily.
Have you ever looked at your nails right after they’ve been polished
and wished they would still have that wet look when they’re dry? All of the Marc
Jacobs High-Shine polishes that I’ve used give my nails that just painted appearance
and make my DIY manicures look salon professional.
With dark polishes even the smallest of chips can be seen, so when
opting for black I always use Chanel. It’s durability means I don’t have to carry the polish everywhere I go and
the applicator brush makes it simple enough to not smear it everywhere when painting
my own nails.
I don’t know what it is about this polish, but every time I decide to
get a red manicure, I unintentionally manage to pick OPI 'Vodka and Caviar' amidst
the dozens of reds offered. I guess you could say I sort of like this color…..
This navy tone is a great option for sticking to dark shades but
not going too traditional. I also like glossy versus matte finishes so that the
blue hues stand out more. China Glaze also dries quickly making it easier if
you’re going to do your own nails.
While going through different photos from MBFW, I came across this J. Mendel dress that I LOVE from their Fall 2013 runway collection. It reminds me of a dress I tried on in Vegas at BCBG a few weeks ago (listed below).
You can't go wrong with b&w, and a classic item like this is something that will never go out of style. Check out this look for less!
Ahhhh... fall (sigh), the season of foliage, pumpkins, apple pie and SCARVES! They're the simplest way to stay warm, add texture and change up any ensemble! Here's my 5 favorites that won't break the bank.
Check out my favorite shopping sites I use and trust.
1.) ASOS.com Where I buy a lot of my dresses. Prices are low and the quality is excellent. Shipping is fast. The only downfall is that they have no customer service phone# within the U.S., so anytime I have a question I have to email them. 2.) ShopStyle.com I've been using this site for years. It searches through thousands of sites within seconds to find exactly what you were looking for. The only downfall is sometimes the items are sold out once you go to the specific site, and ShopStyle doesn't always update the system. 3.) Ebay.com I've been on Ebay since 2009 and mainly use it to sell, however, tailoring the search to weed out only the best sellers is a great tool for me to filter results. 4.) VictoriasSecret.com The best sales on VS PINK and swimwear. 5.) Singer22.com This site allows you to sort through your favorite celebrities to find exactly what it is they were wearing. 6.) Net-A-Porter.com If you're looking for very unique high-end items then this is a great site to check out. 7.) Bebe.com Bebe is always a hit or miss for me but their online sales can be worth searching through and their shipping is fast.
8.) BlueFly.com Another site I've been using for years. Easy, fast results tailored to your needs and they always have that one item I failed to find on other sites. 9.) CelebBoutique.com 100's of bandage dresses in an assortment of colors and styles, and shipping is a breeze. 10.) TheOutnet.com Because it's an outlet, sizes are limited. But if you're on the lookout for timeless pieces and you don't care about what season it's from, then it's worth taking a look at. What are your go-to sites to shop?
first got introduced to Fresh while staying at the Bacara
Resort in Santa Barbara. These products were part of the in-room
amenities, and after my first use of the Citron de Vigne body lotion I was hooked!
skin was immediately smelling incredible and felt super soft. I also
love this product because I don't need to spray any perfume since I
don't want it to take away from the scent the lotion leaves on my skin. I
now go to the Fresh store every few weeks to pick up a new lotion.
Have you tried Fresh products? If so, what's your favorite?
you may have already realized, I wear black and white A LOT, so the
current trend is right up my alley! I recently purchased a b&w maxi
dress from Nordstrom and a striped skirt from Bebe in both in
b&w and r&w after seeing the first episode of the new season of
RHOM (see photo above). I love the idea of pairing a bright top and
earrings with the skirt and I definitely will be getting a lot of use
out of both of them.
